VES sets high standards of learning and celebrates all achievements. We will create a culture where children and adults feel they make a contribution and are valued as individuals.

Robbins, Jolene-468.jpgWe are going to miss three wonderful people at our school next year.

Jolene Robbins will be moving this Summer. We have loved having her and getting to know her throughout this year.

noid1q11006.jpgJoyce Spencer will be retiring after many years teaching at VES. She will be  greatly missed. We wish her all the love and well wishes in her future of relaxation.

noid1q01143.jpgNancy Roundy will be retiring as well after many years of hard and dedicated service here in the district. We love her and will miss her.

It will be a difficult year filling the void that these great ladies are leaving.

Parents & Guardians

Valley Elementary is considered a Title I school according to the Federal Government. This qualification allows a budget for the school to use to increase student achievement. This budget is controlled by a School Community Council (SCC). The SCC is made up and ran by parents. All parents are allowed and encouraged to participate in the SCC. Please let me know if you will consider being on the council and I will give you more information.

Please go to the "parents" section on this website and find the "community council" page; that page has valuable information on how we spend our Title I budget.

Thank you for your help in serving our children.

Valley Elementary scored an "C" on the 2014-2015 state report card!
